Do you love strong female characters?

Dandelion man press is pleased to announce the availability of the audio version of THE INN AT HERON’S BAY, a poignant love story set in beautiful coastal Carolina.

THE INN AT HERON’S BAY is the masterful tale of Elizabeth Padilla who is converting the family home and lighthouse into The Inn at Heron’s Bay. When Kathy and Dixon arrive from the West Coast to study the beauty and history of the area, they discover more than any of them imagined.

HERON’S BAY is a love story and much more.

The book is narrated by Ann Bumbak (www.seahorseaudio.com). Ann is a gifted voice actor having narrated more than a dozen audio books. She is also a prolific author. Her “Officer Down” series examining line-of-duty deaths due to firearms has achieved international recognition.

Listen as Ann Bumbak brings the characters to life.

The audio version of THE INN AT HERON’S BAY is available on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes.

The release of THE INN AT HERON’S BAY marks the third audio book published by dandelion man press.

Listening to Santa Claus

Audio books are the latest way to multi-task. You can listen as you exercise or just watching the waves at the beach on a warm summer day.

Richmond’s own Samuel E. Hoke has just finished narrating an audio book that is a must listen. Mr. Hoke is a seasoned actor and voice professional. He has both radio and national television credits including twelve years of major market radio experience and hundreds of commercial audio productions.

“When I saw the audition call, I was really excited about this project; something just reached out to me. It is a great story, well paced, character development was spot on and the conclusion was satisfying.” Hoke said.

The story, DRONE, by W. M. J. Kreucher plays on our reliance on automation.  Our cars parallel park themselves.  The military uses unmanned aerial vehicles for surveillance.  We can’t go anywhere without our phones.  Our lives are ripe for hacking.

Not that anyone would.

When a group of high school friends meet at their 45th reunion, they discuss the hypothetical.  With all these wireless networks, could someone hack a military drone?  Unknown to them, a Russian spy gets wind of their idle chatter and plans to put their idea to the test.

Vasili Grigoriy Konstantinov commandeers a drone flying over Washington D.C. and terrorizes the National Mall with a low flyby.  Then, things escalate.

Written by W. M. Kreucher, DRONE is a spy thriller that will keep you on the edge of your Metro seat until the very last sentence.

The audio version of DRONE is being released this month. The release marks the first time dandelion man press has ventured into the fastest growing segment of the book publishing industry.

W M J Kreucher, the author of DRONE, said about Samuel, “it was a pleasure to work with a gifted actor. Sam is a true professional; he brought the characters to life in a way I never thought possible.”

I have listened to the audio and it makes for a delightful, even compelling, experience. But I warn you. You might find yourself glancing up at the sky when you finish. The audio version of DRONE is available on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes.

Spoiler Alert: Cover the kiddie’s eyes. You might know Samuel by his real name, Santa Claus. He can be seen around the Richmond area from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve.
